Privacy Policy
How we handle your personal information, and the rights you have over it under the Protection of Personal Information Act.
This policy explains what personal information LLstudios collects, why we collect it, who else sees it and what you can ask us to do with it. It applies to this website and to the work we do for clients.
Who we are
LLstudios is run by Leander Neubert and Liam Montagu-Fryer from 20 Ben Ave, Vredehoek, Cape Town, 8001. You can reach us on +27 84 803 0007 or at contact@llstudios.co.za.

What we collect
When you send us an enquiry through the contact form, we receive your name, your email address, your phone number if you give one, the type of space you have, the services you are interested in and whatever you write in the message field. Nothing on the form is compulsory beyond what is marked as required, and you are free to tell us as little as you like.
If you become a client, we also hold the practical information needed to do the work and invoice you, along with the imagery we capture of your space.
We do not run advertising trackers and we do not currently use website analytics, so we are not building a profile of how you browse.
Why we collect it
- To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote.
- To arrange, carry out and deliver work you have booked.
- To keep records of the work we have done and the invoices we have issued.
We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not add you to a marketing list because you asked us a question.
Who else sees it, and where it goes
We use a small number of outside services to run the business, and your information passes through some of them. Several are based outside South Africa, which means your information is transferred across borders.
- FormSubmit delivers messages sent through our contact form to our inbox.
- Titan hosts our email.
- Cloudflare hosts this website and handles the traffic reaching it.
- Matterport, based in the United States, hosts the interactive tours we produce.
- Google, where a client asks us to publish their space to Street View.
We share your information with these services only so far as they need it to do their job. We do not pass it to anyone else unless you ask us to, or unless we are required to by law.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into work are kept for up to two years, in case you come back to us. Client records and invoices are kept for five years, which is the period South African tax law expects. Imagery of a client's space is kept for as long as we host their tour, and afterwards only if they have asked us to keep it.
Keeping it safe
We keep the number of places your information sits as small as we reasonably can, use two-factor authentication on the accounts that hold it, and do not pass client details around casually. No system is perfect, and we will tell you promptly if something goes wrong that affects you.
Your rights
Under the Protection of Personal Information Act you may ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it, and object to us using it. Write to contact@llstudios.co.za and we will respond as quickly as we can.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled the matter, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforegulator.org.za.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies of its own. Two things embedded in our pages may set their own: the Matterport tours you can explore on the portfolio pages, and the icon library we load to display symbols. You can block cookies in your browser settings, though the tours may not work properly if you do.
Photographs and scans of your space
If we scan or photograph a space for you, that imagery may show personal belongings and occasionally people. We ask clients to have the space clear of people before we arrive, and we will remove anything you ask us to remove before your tour goes live. We only publish a client's space as a portfolio piece with their permission, and that permission can be withdrawn.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date below.
