What we do

We produce interactive 3D virtual tours of commercial and residential spaces, along with photography, video and drone footage. Where a client manages their own Google listing, we can also publish their space to Google Street View. We supply NFC tap-to-review tags linked to a client's Google review page.

Quotes and prices

Scans start at R1500 and every job is quoted individually, because the price depends on the size and layout of the space and on what else you need. The quote we send you is the price, and it tells you what is included. If the job turns out to be materially different from what was described when we arrive, we will discuss it with you before carrying on rather than adding to the bill afterwards.

Travel is included within our usual working area. For locations further afield we include any travel cost in the quote, so you see it before you agree to anything.

Booking, access and preparation

We agree a date and a time window with you in advance. You need to give us access to the space and tell us which areas are off-limits.

Before we arrive we send you a preparation checklist, which you can also read on our How It Works page. A scan captures the space exactly as it is on the day, so preparation makes a real difference to the result. If the space is not ready when we arrive and the shoot cannot go ahead, we may need to charge for the visit and rebook.

Delivery

Finished tours are delivered within 48 hours of the shoot at the latest, and usually sooner. You receive a link you can share, embed code for your own website, measured floor plans, and any photography or video you booked. We will tell you on the day if anything is likely to take longer.

Hosting and the monthly fee

An interactive tour has to be hosted somewhere, and that hosting costs us money every month. The first twelve months are included in the price of your scan. After that, keeping the tour online costs R99 a month, or R999 if you pay for a year at once.

If you stop paying, the interactive tour goes offline. Any photography and video we shot for you remains yours permanently and is unaffected. If the hosting price ever has to change, we will tell you well before it does.

Who owns what

You may use the tour, photographs and video we deliver for your own business without limit: on your website, in listings, on social media and in advertising. We keep the copyright in the material we create, which is the normal arrangement in photography.

We would like to show your space in our portfolio, but we will only do so with your permission, and you can withdraw that permission at any time by writing to us. If you would rather we did not, it makes no difference to the price.

Cancelling and rescheduling

Plans change and we would rather be reasonable about it than argue.

  • Before the shoot. Tell us at least 24 hours ahead and there is no charge. Less than that, or if we arrive and cannot work, we may charge for the visit.
  • After the shoot but before delivery. The work has been done, so the scan is payable. We will still deliver everything we captured.
  • After delivery. The service is complete at that point. If something is wrong with what we delivered, tell us and we will put it right.

The seven-day cooling-off right in section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act applies to certain transactions concluded electronically. It does not apply to services that have already started, or to work produced to your specification, which covers a scan of your particular space. We have set out above what we do instead, which we think is fairer than the strict legal position.

If something goes wrong

Tell us first, on +27 84 803 0007 or at contact@llstudios.co.za. We would far rather fix a problem than have you unhappy about it.

If we cannot resolve it between us, South African consumers may take a complaint to the National Consumer Commission. Complaints about how we have handled personal information go to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za, and our Privacy Policy explains that side in full.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page. The terms that apply to your job are the ones in force when you accept your quote, and we will not change them on you afterwards.

Ask us before you book rather than afterwards. We would prefer it.
